  • An expert in water rights and environmental regulatory compliance.
  • A Registered Professional Engineer and Water Right Surveyor and can prepare and  sign supporting maps for the necessary new appropriations, change applications and  filings for flow-rate-only that you will need to settle out your well field permitting  and operation.
  • Knows well field optimization and offers the permitting expertise to guide you and your company to obtain only the permits necessary to effectively operate your water supply wells.
  • Worked on location with nearly every drilling contractor in Nevada with well  completions and decommissioning throughout the entire state, and therefore offers  drilling engineering, project management and quality control.
  • Extensive training and experience in groundwater development on a regional and local scale. He has reviewed and analyzed numerous groundwater models in Nevada and knows what is important in model calibration and verification.
  • Promoted geothermal development in Nevada and has worked directly with operators on well completions and reservoir testing since the early 1980's.
  • Wrote and re-wrote the Nevada regulation on well drilling and decommissioning three separate times, listening closely to operators statewide on what works and what does not work, and worked directly with the National Ground Water Association in develop- ing their National Standard for well completions and decommissioning in 2011-2012.
  • Has assisted the Nevada Division of Minerals in crafting new oil and gas regulations  to address hydraulic fracturing and drafted detailed responses to public comment  and concern.
  • Has worked with the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land  Management and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service on preparation of Environmental Impact Statements and Assessments for various projects in Nevada.
  • Knows Nevada Division of Environmental Protection staff and what is expected  from their permitting requirements and understands what is needed to appeal to some compromise with both federal and state agencies.
  • Has worked on numerous mine properties in Nevada from the mine pit floor to remote exploration core drilling locations and is currently MSHA certified as he has been for many years.
  • Familiar with monitoring well installation and sampling requirements from vibrating wire piezometers to zero-discharge permit sampling.
  • Has the experience to craft the best approach and strategies to get done what you need and to excel in your job in getting and managing water for your projects.
